Well, how's it going?  I don't have many visitors come by so I wonder why I keep this thing going.

Hasn't been a very good day.....been without some vital medicine for 4 days and I'm beginning to feel the effect of it.

Pretty day today, I went out and sat and walked for a while.  Then I came in and did some time on the treadmill.  Went back outside and walked some more.

Haven't stitched in several days, my heart's just not into it.....maybe something will inspire me.

Hi all!

Just stopping by to say hello and hoping that everyone is having a wonderful day.  Haven't been doing any stitching the last few days.....just can't seem to get in the *mood*...I'm hoping this too shall pass.

It's a beautiful day here in TN....sunny, blue skies and 72.  The birds are singing and the squirrels are scurrying....  I hope to get a hummingbird feeder in the next week and also a regular bird feeder for the wild birds that we have in these woods..... they are all beautiful and I love looking at them.

Nothing much happening here, just making it through each day.  I made a really nice friend from one of the MB's and we have been talking and getting to know one another. She seems like a real sweetheart.....and I hold my friends dear to my heart.  She lives in Australia

Having subway for supper tonight....I've started walking on the treadmill every day and counting my calories and fluid intake.  My sis from Michigan and I are trying really hard to get heart healthy and are here to inspire and encourage each other.  It does make a difference when you have someone that believes in you.  I'm having a  veggie sandwich on wheat   and LOTS of water LOL

Off to see hubby, who has been working late every day this week.  Have a wonderful evening!

This is one of my current WIP's...It's Bless This House...it's what I was working on when I got the *stitching blues*. So, I put it aside and found a smaller project, a LK, that I have all kitted up and ready to go.

It's a beautiful, sunny, warm day here in TN....Highs are supposed to get in the 80's.......rain coming in later and then the temps are supposed to drop to the 30's and 40's this weekend... What's up with that? They're actually calling for snow......Spring, oh Spring, wherefore art thou? It comes and goes..

I finally found something to stitch!  Now, I have to decide what color of fabric to put it on LOL

Things are good here at the house, I'm ready to get some flowers and get them going.  I just love this time of the year!  Flowers, sunny skies with white puffy clouds, fresh mown grass, it just makes you feel good.  And we all deserve to feel good don't we? 

I'm going outside lol  Have a wonderful rest of the day!!

Drew and Cass are gone, hubby is asleep in the recliner and the race is on tv.  I'm just walking around in circles.  In a slump as far as stitching.  Can't find any project that I want to start.  Another reason I think I'm so bored.  Usually in this situation, I can turn to my stitching and be content.  Not today.....don't even want to go through my things..  Oh well, I guess we all have these days.  I'm thankful for the air I breathe, my family, my home, my friends, everything that I have been blessed with.  I know a brighter day is a coming

Nothing planned for tonight.....I wonder if John will even wake up lol

Haven't talked to my Mom in 2 days....the last conversation didn't end too calmly so seems there is a little distance right now.  So, that's weighing on my mind too.

Been cruising the cross stitch MB's, not much going on there either....everybody is busy but me lol

Ok.....I'm done whining for now.   If you suffered through it, thank you for listening...

Happy Friday everyone!

It's a rainy Friday here in TN.  Looks like it's going to be an all day thing too.

I think I'm in a stitching slump, I haven't stitched for days now.  I finished up a project I was doing for my Mom for Mother's Day and haven't even attempted to start anything else.  I don't know what I want to do .....do you ever have that problem?  I guess I'll have to go through my stash and see what jumps out at me.  I'm thinking of stitching some small snowmen on some stitchband that was sent to me by a friend.  I've never used it before so it will be a new experience.  I'm not sure of how to finish it though, I'll have to ask for help on that one lol

Nerves are a little worn at the moment.....I hate to wait....and I'm having to do that today.  I have a job interview for a work at home job at 2pm today.  I'm all ready and nothing to do lol  guess now would be a good time to go through my things and get something ready to stitch this weekend. 

I'm still trying to figure out the pic thing on here so please bear with me.  I know there has to be a way other than putting them in the photo album, surely.  If not, I may have to find another place for my blog, because I want to post some pics of my work.  Time shall tell..

I am 42, happily married to John and have two wonderful children, Drew,22 and Cassidy 16.  Our min pin allows us to live with her lol and her name is Sydnee.

I love spending time with my family, which we don't get to do often as we live in TN and they all live in GA....I am an only child as well.  We go down on holidays and special occasions...  I've been more frequently since my Mom had her TKR.  I lost my Dad 3 years ago.

My favorite past time is cross stitch.  I adore everything about it, from picking out new stash, fondling the fabric and threads and making it come to life.  I've been stitching over 20 years, since my Mom taught me.  My very first project was a Precious Moments....She still has it hanging in her house.

I enjoy music, reading, writing soldiers in the Soldier's Angel Organization.  There are so many that need our support.  I also enjoy penpalling.

Stay tuned, as I get some of my projects photographed I will be adding to the blog.  My current WIP is Bless This House, which will be made into a bellpull.  I'm using DMC variegated thread to stitch the whole thing.
